Robert Alanis is licensed with the National
Christian Counselors Association located in Sarasota,
Florida as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor and has served
as Pastor for over 24 years.
He has seen many families broken up as
a result of dysfunctional relationships in our society.
Every difficulty that a person is challenged with stems
from a root cause. Many respond to these challenges in
an ungodly manner thus creating more problems.
His goal in response to these issues will
be to offer to the community a faith-based Christian
counseling method which he believes can be the solution to
many of life's problems that will begin the process for
healing.
There has been such
a break down in our society today that has created
tremendous stress within the family structure. This
fast-paced society has taken away the emphasis on family
life that our children have become dysfunctional. We are
now faced with a generation who are experiencing deep
emotional pain and stress that they have found it
difficult to understand their own identity and purpose
in life.
God has given the
answer to all of life’s issues found in the Bible.
Most of these
problems that people are encountered with have been
directly related to their spiritual walk. The Bible
helps to identify the most deep and personal issues that
can promote a healthy physiological and spiritual
healing.
Robert Alanis believes that this
ministry can offer the family, as well as individuals,
tools that can help end this process
of dysfunction bringing healing to the whole person.
These tools will also help to identify any negative
mindset that has made it difficult to overcome one’s
weaknesses. Robert believes that every person can be changed
as faulty thinking is replaced with truth that will take
the limiters off creating the ability to overcome any
problem. Changing the image from the inside will create
the solution to their personal challenges.
In regard to the community of churches
Robert Alanis wants to help bring support to the pastors in
their labors of nurturing and building the lives of
people. He realizes that pastors are faced with many challenges
within their congregations where people are confronted
with relational conflicts that could be very time
consuming. His desire is to work along side the Pastor to
help ease the burden of ministry. The Word of God will
be the foundation for all counseling sessions and total
dependence upon the Holy Spirit for wisdom and guidance.
Many of these emotional conflicts that people have
experienced have resulted in blurred vision of
understanding their identity in Christ. Once a person comes to understand their purpose in life
God predestined for them that the process for healing
will then take place and they will begin to walk in full potential as a whole person!
