A couple of years ago I had exhausted any influence I might have had on my daughter and her husband who were struggling in their marriage. I asked God to send someone who could help find real answers to their problems.

One day while sitting at my desk with their situation so heavy on my heart the Lord brought Pastor Robert Alanis to my mind. Now understand that I had only met him once briefly three years prior. I didn't even know his name, only his face appeared before me, and I remembered that he was the pastor at New Beginnings church in Mariposa. I called for an appointment. At that time he told me about 'Creation Therapy' and how it identifies a person's temperament needs. This enlightenment helps you find peace within yourself, your environment, and with your Creator. You discover who you truly are and not just who you have become through life experiences. It helps you reach your full potential through a path of discovery.

To make a long story short they decided the world didn't have anything to offer, and they knew in their hearts that God did. They have come so far in their personal walks with the Lord and in their understanding of each other. It is amazing to see such results in a relatively short period of time. Other counseling had little to no affect on them because it only dealt with the surface problems and never reach the core of who they are and how they dealt with life issues. They have never been happier and more fulfilled. I praise God and thank Pastor Alanis for his service to the Lord and to our community.
